Service Description
This is a 1:1 session to go over new product development process and the stages you will experience. 1. Develop Preliminary Recipe. Objective: Establish a working recipe that meets flavor, texture, nutritional and cost goals. Key Actions: Source (high-quality) ingredients aligned with product claims (e.g., organic, non-GMO). Balance taste and functionality while adhering to regulatory requirements. Perform sensory evaluations to refine the base recipe. 2. Test Feasibility and Stability Objective: Ensure the recipe is viable for commercial production. Key Actions: Conduct shelf-life testing to verify product stability over time. Analyze ingredient interactions to avoid undesirable changes (e.g., separation, clumping). Validate food safety and compliance with regulatory standards. This session is best accompanied by our product development guide which also lists key questions you need to answer in order to determine how ready you are to commercialize your food product/recipe, where in the process you are and Identify high risk gaps you may have that need to be addressed.
